ADIDAS X BAPE SHOES THAT CELEBRATE BAPE’S 30TH ANNIVERSARY.

The original 1984 adidas Forum swept the cultural scene decades ago and earned the loyalty of athletes, rappers and the masses, too. In collaboration with BAPE, we took a trip to the archives and emerged with a modern spin on the iconic basketball-inspired silhouette. The most memorable design detail will always be the signature X and ankle strap, which mingle here with signature BAPE and adidas branding. Originally intended to support players’ ankles, it’s now a signature mark of timeless design. This release with BAPE shows off iconic BAPE ABC camo on the full grain leather overlays and sockliner cover, as well as on a set of extra laces you can swap out with the other two laces. To celebrate BAPE’s 30th anniversary, a special logo commemorates the anniversary on the tongue label, and the shoes come in a special shoebox alongside a mesh bag.
